Write Up:
Panorama Meadow via Taylor Lake, August 24, 2024 Six registrants set off at 10:00 am in cool but dry conditions - the temperature warmed up to about 10 degrees - better than expected; a mix of sun and clouds but good walking conditions, although a wet trail on the approach to Taylor Lake. After lunch on a huge boulder on the slopes of Panorama Ridge, we went on to the second small lake - further than our commitment. A very enjoyable trip, 18 km with 1107 m elevation gain: back to the trailhead by about 4:50. Average walking speed 3 to 4 km/hour. A hike defined as Difficult ... but not hard to do! Stats kindly provided by Nancy Gabel. Glynn Wright
