Trail to South Lawson Peak was obvious and in good condition. There was a light dust of snow when we approached the summit. Low clouds and fog obscured the view when we got there. So we had lunch in the trees and with a view instead on the way back, just past the false summit. A light shower started to fall during the last km. Then the sun came out when we were back at the parking lot. Bonus: we were pleasantly surprised to see larches, and we had the summit all to ourselves. An autumn hike at its best!
