Just before the 18 of us arrived at our secret flower meadow, it had rained so we were blessed with even light and our subject matter, the flowers, had raindrops on them which made them even more interesting. We played with our cameras for about a half hour when the rain began again in earnest. We retreated to the Bow Valley Provincial Park information building for our lunch and a good exchange of photography ideas. We had two professional photographers in our midst (Brian Dechene and Fran Edwards) who were generous in giving us amateurs some tips. We just finished lunch and the sun came out so most of us took the short hike at the information building site and got a chance to experiment with our cameras in a new light(literally). A hardy, enthusiastic group of photographers came away with some great flower shots which will be posted in the Photo Gallery.
