The weather was beautiful for the hike to Mount Kidd. We had a light breeze as we hiked up the very steep trail. This helped to offset the very warm sun and the hard work that we were doing. We spent about an hour at the top, eating, exploring and slapping horseflies. The trip down was challenging as the surface can be like ballbearings. However, we progressed slowly and cautiously. We each had a "token" fall. The landscape on this hike is filled with flowers of all colours. The views of the Mount Kidd golf course, tourist centre and Nakiska are well worth the difficulties in completing the hike. This was a great group of hikers. We had beautiful weather. Definitely was worthwhile. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Photo Historian at photos.team@calgaryweekendhikers.com.
