2015.10.21 - Snakes & Ladders - Wed, Oct 21 2015 - (View Original Event Details)

Write Up:
This was a new and interesting hike. There were not many bikes on this trail that day. Total distance was 15.4 kms taking just over 5 hours. We climbed 260 meters up to Ranger Summit, then 200 meters down the 'Snake' and then 150 meters up the 'Ladder' where we had lunch. There was a 75 meter gain on the second Ridgeback loop. This was the shortest way of doing Snake & Ladders with having a car shuttle at the start and finish. The part we did as the 'Ladder' could be quite muddy after a heavy rain or when the snow melts in the spring as the drainage needs to be improved. Terry
