We started out from Cameron Lake in warm sunny weather and enjoyed the views to the Carthew pass. At the pass clouds were low and it was cool and misty hiding all views except for visibility within a few metres. As usual we saw the beautiful scorpion weed on the talus slope. We made our way back to Summit Lake where it was warm and sunny again and had lunch. We returned to the Cameron Lake trail head.
